Never again painful ski boots! corpus.e and ERTL/RENZ have developed a 3d scan system for a digital, exact and quick measuring of the human foot. The data is used to produce customized ski boots or to find the best fitting boot for a foot. From november, the scan system is open for ski enthusiasts in 12 exclusive sports stores, such as Hamburg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.

Not only in the sports shoe industry but also in the orthopedic's industry MagicalSkin by corpus.e has been the market leader for many years. Now, the German trade journal 'Orthopädie-Technik' has published a five-page article about corpus.e and ERTL/RENZ in their october issue.

Like 'Mountain Bike' and 'Road Bike', Germanies leading running magazine 'Runner's World' asked corpus.e to scan all running shoes of season 2009/2010 for their october issue. The editors were more than surprised by the results: the length of some models with the same size differ by more than one centimetre!

Dirk Rutschmann, CEO of corpus.e, will be heading to the lake of constance on September 3, to show another presentation of corpus.e's 3D scan technology at Eurobike 2009. The fair is a hotspot of the mountain bike and road bike scene and takes place from September 2 to 5 in Friedrichshafen. Dirk will present the 3d scan technology lightbeam for perfectly fitting shoes at 14:00 hrs in room 'Rom', Conference Centre East.
